Engaging the Next GenerationLearn more
SCC Kids strives to teach the next generation all about Jesus. We want to introduce them to Jesus and give them the tools to develop a relationship with Him based on fun lessons, scripture, and life application. We believe there is no kid version of Jesus — they need the same great big God we do!
When you arrive at SCC, let a volunteer know that you and your child are first-time guests. We will meet your family, check your child into our database system, and one of our volunteers will lead your child to their age-appropriate room.
We will ask for the following personal information: family members' names, children’s names and birthdates, address, phone number, and any special instructions (allergies, special needs) for your child.
You may check in your child at the check-in desk downstairs in the SCC Kids area. After finding your child’s name in the database, you and your child will be given matching identification tags that are exclusive to your family and your visit. Your child will need to wear the name tag portion while you keep the matching tag. After the service, you will return to the check-in desk and show your tag in order for your child to be released back to you.
We kindly ask that only one parent or guardian check-in and pick up your child before and after service to ensure quick, safe, and orderly procedure, as our space is somewhat limited! If you ever have any questions or concerns, find a staff member or volunteer who will gladly assist you.
Our SCC Kids staff and volunteers go through screening, background checks, and regular safety training procedures to ensure that we create a safe environment for your child. We want your child to have lots of fun learning about Jesus, and for you to feel comfortable and confident that your child is being cared for.
SCC Kids has classrooms, activities, and curriculum designed and developed to suit every age range from birth to 8th grade. Your child will learn about Jesus in a fresh, fun, and engaging way that will resonate best with their age and style of learning.
